Mighty Mights - Under 10 Tennis - Ages: 3-4 - $45, 5 weeks

This class is designed for skill development and socialization. Your child will be marching the lines, throwing the ball, and using an age/size appropriate racquet during their class time to become familiar with the feel of the ball on the racquet. Hand-eye coordination exercises will be stressed in class. Smiles and Laughing are a must.

Hot-Shots - Under 10 Tennis - Ages: 5-7 - $65, 5 weeks

This is a class that your child will love, whether they are a beginner or have had lessons. Each child, with the use of bright targets will continue to learn the lines of the court while marching around to each area and naming it as they pass. Racquets for the appropriate size of the child will be used. Different hand-eye coordination drills and foot work will be introduced so they can find what works for them. Smiles and laughing are a must.

The Phase Programming - Junior Development - Ages: 8-17

Phase 1: Strokers $65, 5 weeks

This is an entry level class with an introduction to tennis through basic drills, court familiarity, stroke production, and coordination drills that improve body movement. The last week of class students will participate in a skills day of fun and excitement to see what they have accomplished.

Phase 2: Ralliers $65, 5 weeks

After successful completion of Phase 1, juniors will be involved in refining their groundstrokes, volleys, serves, and overheads. They will learn to involve strategy as part of their game. The last week of class will be a skills day which will enable students to advance to the next level as their abilities progress.

Phase 3: All Stars $65, 5 weeks

This class will involve all skills that were learned in phases 1 & 2. Serves, ball placement and rotation, body movement, footwork, and game production will be stressed during drills and games. The last week of class will be used for skills assessment. Awards for achievement will be given to all participants.

Phase 4: Tournament Training - $80/month or $25/day

Open: 12-17 years old

Participants must have completed Phase 3 and/or are playing on a high school team. Match day is designated for those who want to achieve the experience of challenging themselves for preparation of tournament entry and play. Tournament Schedules will be available to all students. Students from this class are offered the chance to play SCTA Junior Team Tennis. Matches are generally on Saturday, extra fees apply for SCTA Junior Team Tennis.

Adult: Beginning - Advanced $65, 5 weeks

Beginning: For those wanting to learn how to play tennis. Introduction to the basic rules, different strokes and footwork will be the focus along with serve development.

Intermediate: This class will focus on stroke production, game play, different serves, ball placement, stamina, and game play strategy.

Advanced: Be involved in games that will challenge abilities and knowledge. This is a playing class with advanced techniques stressed, including grips, ball rotation and placement.

Private

Fountain Valley Tennis Center offers private and semi-private lessons for all ages and skill levels. These lessons are taught by our professional teaching staff. Please call our office at (714) 839-5950 or email us to set up a private lesson with any of our instructors.

Adults

Are you having trouble learning how to tennis? Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? We will show you the basics of Tennis such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irregardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Juniors

Fountain Valley Tennis Center Program provides Tennis lessons and coaching to children ages 4-17 years old. All lessons are directed by certified tennis coaches.
